At HUBPRO, we now offer:

CUA51250 Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance)

NEW ZEALAND LIVE AUDITION
Sunday, 19th April
Possess Australian or New Zealand citizenship/residency.
Demonstrate proficient English communication, comprehension, and writing skills.
Successfully pass an audition to secure enrolment in the course.
Audition in-person or submit an online audition submission.
Showcase proficient dance skills across a minimum of 3 styles. For online auditions, include 2 videos encompassing different styles.
Musical Theatre applicants will also needs to showcase proficient singing/acting skill.
Take part in an interview conducted by our Directors.

Suitability

Which course is right for you?

Diploma & Advanced Diploma (Dance)

Entry Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate:

Previous formal training in dance
Strong technical proficiency in a minimum of two dance styles, preferably including ballet and jazz
Experience in styles such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, or ballroom
The physical capacity and discipline required for full-time elite dance training

Preferential consideration may be given to applicants with supplementary skills including:

Singing
Acting
Acrobatics or circus
Music or instrumental ability

The minimum age requirement is 17 years, with applicants accepted up to 30 years of age. Completion of senior secondary schooling is strongly recommended.

Diploma (Musical Theatre)

Entry Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate:

Previous experience in singing, acting and/or dance
Confident movement ability (applicants are not required to be elite dancers)
Strong performance presence and stage potential
Foundational competency in at least one dance style (musical theatre, jazz or contemporary preferred)

Applicants with strengths in vocal performance, acting (stage or screen), ensemble work and musicality will be highly regarded.

The minimum age requirement is 17 years, with applicants accepted up to 30 years of age.
Completion of senior secondary schooling is strongly recommended.

Audition Process

Acceptance into all courses is via audition only.

HUBPRO maintains intentionally small cohort sizes to ensure personalised industry mentoring.

We accept a maximum of 30 Full-Time students per intake.

Once this number is reached, auditions will close.
